Erin and Peter welcomed Amelia into the world just 13 days before our photo shoot. I met them at their home in Philadelphia. Meet beautiful Amelia!

Erin explained that what she was looking for in the session was some simple and artistic photos of Amelia. I just love it when my clients are able to tell me exactly what they like. It is such a huge help. Although I love to shoot in the family’s surroundings too, my black background is perfect for artistic shots.

I often change images to reflect a different mood using effects like black & white, sepia or vintage. However, I always give my clients the original as well so they can decide which one they like the best.

So at this point you’re probably thinking that little Amelia slept through the entire photo session right? Ummmmm….no. She was keeping at least one eye on me most of the time, which was all very normal. But I’m glad it looks that way!!!! The key to newborn photography is patience. My sessions can take between 2-3 hours because of feedings, changing and very determined and awake little girls!

You are getting sleeeeeepeeeee....very sleeepeeee

I'm kind of tired, but I better keep my eye on this lady for a little longer!

There we go!

And if you think that nap lasted very long…..

So sweet!
Kelly Fox - Aw, I love the little nose rubbing with Daddy.
Erin L. - Amelia did recover and slept most of the afternoon and did really well at night. Thanks again for coming to the house and being so patient. We are IN LOVE with the photos. Now we have the really hard part of picking the ones we like the most! Thanks again!
Denise - The smiles are amazing on this little girl. You captured some really sweet moments.
admin - Thanks so much. It’s the best job ever!
